Guacamole
Recipe by:Cooking time:
- 4-Medium Tomatoes
- 4-Ripe Avocados
- 1-Juice of 1 Lime
- 1/2-Small Onion
- 1 bunch-Cilantro Chopped
- 3 fresh-Red Fresno Chiles
- 2-Garlic cloves
- -Tortilla Chips to serve
- -Salt
Remove the tomato seeds and chop the tomatoes.
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the insides with a spoon into a small mixing bowl. Crush with a fork until the desired consistency is obtained. You can also put them in a blender and make them smooth, but you lose a lot of avocado on the inside of the blender.
Chop the onion finely, crush the garlic and add them to the mixing bowl along with the lime juice.
Cut open the chiles. (Do not touch your eyes with your hands after this). Remove and discard the seeds. Do not feed them to your bird. Chop up the chiles into small pieces.
Add the chopped tomato and chile to the avocado mixture.
Salt to taste.
Serve with tortilla chips, use as a burrito or taco topping, or cover and refrigerate. The lime juice will keep the guacamole from turning brown for a couple of days. Serve within 48 hours.
